The Customer is the person or legal entity in whose name the order is placed.
ORDER AND DELIVERY
The Customer can order by phone, email or, www.ancient-academy.com /info@ancient-academy.com.
The Customer can only complete a purchase if he or she is 18 of age or above or has the acceptance of a
legal guardian to complete the purchase.
After the order is complete correctly, the Customer receives an e-mail as a confirmation for the final
agreement (order confirmation).
In the cases where an online course has been purchased, any access to the course material and course
information is personal for the Customer only and may not be transferred to others without the written
consent of ANCIENT ACADEMY.
Further information about the Customer’s order will appear on the order confirmation, including
information on delivery.
PRICES
Ancient Academy reserves the right to change prices.
Informed prices are either exempt of VAT or incl. VAT, depending on the nature of the course.
PAYMENT
Payment is made online via ANCIENT ACADEMY payment system with Dankort or credit card or by bank
transfer, cf. invoice.
Alternatively, payment can be made within the stated payment deadlines using the payment ID, which is
given at registration. No payment fees are charged. In the event of late payment, ANCIENT ACADEMY is
entitled to cancel any delivery, and demand interest and fees, in accordance with the Interest Act.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
Business Owners are not granted a right of withdrawal.
If the Customer is a consumer, he/she has a 14-day right of cancellation, why the following applies in
consumer relations.
The Customer holds the cost of shipping for any. return of a physical item.
Any payment made will be refunded to the same card with which the initial payment was made. If the
Customer wishes to have the money refunded to an account other than the initial payment account, an
additional handling fee of DKK 30 will be charged.
It can take up to 14 days from the item is received at ANCIENT ACADEMY to the refund is completed, when
refunding to another account.
In order to exercise his/her right of cancellation, the Customer must submit an unambiguous statement to
Ancient Academy.dk, through e-mail, followed by any needed physical return of product to our address.
Regardless of the above written statements, for the sake of ANCIENT ACADEMY’S planning of the course,
the Customer has no right of cancellation if the Customer’s order of live courses is made later than 14 days
before the stated date of the course.
Regardless of the above written statements, the Customer’s right of Cancellation ceases the moment the
Customer begins to use the delivered product / service, eg. by attending a course or event. ANCIENT
ACADEMY draws special attention to the fact that the Customer’s commencement of use ‘of online
products takes place by sending the material electronically to the Customer or by entering a password or
the like. e.g., if this is necessary for the Customer to utilise the product.
If the Customer makes a cancellation later than 14 days before the start of the course, the course fee must
still be paid, and already paid course fees will not be refunded. Failure to attend or use the submitted
password does not give the right to a refund of already paid course fee.
SUPPLIER’S LACK OF DELIVERY.
If courses or other deliveries, regardless of the reason for this, are cancelled, the participant is entitled to a
refund of the full paid course fee.
If the cancellation is due to circumstances out of ANCIENT ACADEMY`S control, a fee may be charged to
cover any. cost of cancellation.
ANCIENT ACADEMY is not responsible for other costs inquired by the Customer – including expenses that
the Customer may have had for transportation, lost earnings and the like.
COMPLAINTS
The rules of the Purchase Act may apply in connection with agreements on the provision of services.
As a rule, you do not have a 2-year warranty, as it is a service. Therefore, please contact us immediately if
you experience any problems.
Any complaint about products or services must be made in writing via the website.
If it is not a service, the rules of the Purchase Act’s section on complaints applies.
RIGHT OF APPEAL, APPLICABLE LAW AND SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
If you wish to submit a complain regarding your purchase, please contact the ANCIENT ACADEMY.
If we do not succeed in finding a solution, consumers can submit a complaint to: Center for Klageløsning og
Forbrugerklagenævnet, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via www.naevneneshus.dk, if the
conditions for this are met.
Any complaint is processed in accordance with Danish law and with jurisdiction at the ANCIENT ACADEMY´S
domicile.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The intellectual property rights in all course material, including written and / or electronic material, belong
to the ANCIENT ACADEMY and / or the individual teachers. The Customer acquires an indefinite non-
exclusive and non-transferable right of use for the service provided. If the service includes copyrighted
material, the Customer is not entitled to make copies, distribute or publicly perform such deliveries beyond
what may be deemed necessary for their correct and normal use. Regardless of the above regulations it is
permitted to produce individual copies in the said deliveries for personal use in accordance with the
relevant regulations of the Copyright Act. The right of use is personal and non-transferable to the
Customer.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Processing of personal data:
ANCIENT ACADEMY`S processing of personal data takes place in compliance with the Personal Data Act.
The Customer can contact ANCIENT ACADEMY if information is required about what data is being
processed about the Customer, or if the information is to be deleted or corrected.
Marketing:
By accepting a course, event, ordering an item or the like, the Customer agrees that information about the
Customer’s name / address / e-mail etc. is used by ANCIENT ACADEMY to fulfil the Customer’s order and to
inform the Customer if any unforeseen problems with the delivery of an online service should arise.
In order for you to enter into an agreement with us at ANCIENT ACADEMY, we need the following
information:

• Phone number
• Email address
Personal data policy
We only register and pass on the personal information that is necessary to be able to deliver the product to
you.
The personal information is registered with the ANCIENT ACADEMY and stored for five years, after which
the information is deleted.
In addition, we collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. Companies
process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that we know can secure adequate protection

You have the right to be informed on the nature of the information we process about you. If you believe

When personal information is collected via our website, we ensure that it is always done with your
expressed consent, so that you are informed on the nature of the information that is collected and why.
ANCIENT ACADEMY employees have access to any information collected about you.
The data controller is ANCIENT ACADEMY.
We do not store encrypted Customer information. We do not transmit encrypted Customer information.
Information submitted to ANCIENT ACADEMY is not passed on or sold in any way to third parties, and we
do not record any personally sensitive information.
When registered with the ANCIENT ACADEMY, you always have the right to object to the registration. You
also have the right to insight into what information is registered about you. You have these rights after The
Personal Data Act, and any inquiries in connection with this subject are directed to the ANCIENT ACADEMY.
COOKIES
The website uses cookies for the purpose of optimising the website and its functionality, improving your
experience, and thus making the visit as easy for you as possible.

We use a log statistics at ANCIENT ACADEMY, which means that a statistics system collects information that

TERMS FOR MEMBERSHIPS
Criteria for Membership features
When a charge via a payment card is to be completed, the card information must correspond with Nets’
card database. The payment card used must be active. It must be possible to complete a transaction for the
Membership amount. The card used for Membership charges must be able to complete transactions via the
Internet.
Receipt
Receipts that contain confirmation, information, changes or termination about your Membership are
delivered via email. Receipts are sent to the e-mail address that you specified when creating the
Membership.
Cardholder’s liability and liability relationship
As a Customer and cardholder, you are responsible for ensuring that your card data is correct and up to
date.
You are liable as a Customer for the selected Membership until a possible termination date. You can cancel
the Membership until the end of a month, unless otherwise agreed or stated upon registration.
Card number update
You can update your card number if you need to renew or delete information. This may be relevant if, for
example, you change cards. You update your card information by contacting info@ancient-academy.com
As a Customer, you are responsible for ensuring that your card data is correct and up to date.
Termination / Termination of Membership
You can cancel the Membership until the end of a month, unless otherwise agreed or stated upon
registration.
If you wish to cancel the Membership, this must be done in person or in writing to ANCIENT ACADEMY. If
there is any doubt as to whether the membership has been terminated, you as a member must be able to
document the termination. Therefore, we recommend that the termination be made in writing.
Customer terms
As a Customer, you must actively accept Customer terms and the price.
Terms and prices
Terms and prices for a membership that you purchase online are listed next to that membership.
All memberships are paid through PayPal, that completes a charge once a month and occurs on an ongoing
basis. That is, it is only the first charge/payment that you complete on the internet.
A membership is binding. The binding means that you cannot cancel your Membership outside our terms
and conditions once you have made use of the Membership.
Prepayment / information on prepaid benefits:
When paying in advance for a Membership, you will be charged for the number of months stated in the
order confirmation.
Delivery terms
We consider the membership as delivered when creation and payment is completed.
If there is something wrong with the Membership
If you are not satisfied with the Membership, you can contact us.
The Purchase Act’s Rules of Defect do not apply to Memberships.
Whether or not you have a 2-year warranty according to the rules in the Purchase Act therefore depends
on what is to be delivered in accordance with the Membership agreement.
Charges made to your card
You can revoke your permission for us to deduct an amount from your card at any time.
You can also object to “unauthorised charges” to your card provider, but no later than 8 weeks after the
charge, unless otherwise stated in your agreement with the card provider.
